paper republic are based in Vienna, Austria and their mission is to craft authentic notebooks and journals according to traditional paper-making, printing, bookbinding and leather techniques.

To this aim they work with some of the world's best paper and leather artisans and experts in Japan, Sweden, Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, France and Austria.

Our world may be slowly moving away from 3000 years of paper-based history, but paper republic believe that paper has a tremendous future: as an expression of culture, art, beauty, uniqueness, tangible reality and absolute intimacy, may it be in the form of a book, notebook or a newspaper - something a digital device will never be able to offer to anyone.
